Public Policy Intern
Megan Vickery is the summer Public Policy Intern at Up for Growth. In this position, she conducts research and analysis on housing policy at the Federal and State level and contributes to the development of various policy-related communications and programs.
Outside of Up for Growth, Megan has worked as a research assistant for three years studying the social and media components of finance technologies and crowdfunding platforms. Following the completion of her internship this summer, she will be completing her final year at the University of Virginia. She will graduate in the spring of 2021 with a B.A. in Economics and American Studies with a concentration in Race and Ethnicity Studies.
In her free time Megan can often be found staying active, hiking and camping in the Shenandoah mountains, reading, and frequenting local coffee shops.
